Golden Globes 2021: EC's Top Picks!

March 01, 2021 by Evening Collective
The Golden Globe's 2021 was full of style #inspo. See our top picks and the EC dresses that these best-dressed celeb winners could have rocked instead!
While the Golden Globes was a little different this year, Hollywood still brought the fashion from the red carpet to their living rooms. Ranging from bold colors, stylish pantsuits, and full-on glamour, the stars did not disappoint. While tuning in to see what everyone was wearing, we couldn't help but imagine some of our own styles making a cameo at the award show. That is why we have selected some of our favorite looks and then found our EC styles that would have also had these celebs on the best-dressed list. Take a look below at our top contenders and the styles you can shop that will have you winning an award too.
Amanda Seyfreid in Oscar De La Renta
Amanda stunned in a gown that was a vibrant coral masterpiece! The sweeping train and off-the-shoulder style was perfectly described by Seyfried as, "very sunny and springy, and it makes me really happy to wear it. I feel very glamorous.” We couldn't help but think that the actress would have also caught as many eyes wearing our Victoria Dress in Coral
Andra Day in Chanel
What a day for Day! Winning best actress in a drama (and being the second black actress to win this award) was also winning in her gorgeous tulle gown. Looking the part of chic and romantic, Andra was every bit deserving of her win and one of the best dressed. We could also see her in our Penelope Dress in Moonlight
Salma Hayek in Alexandar McQueen
Hayek looked like every bit the sensation in her red, Grecian-inspired gown. It featured a striking asymmetric neckline with a collar and cinched waist that really showed off her famous curves. While this dress is a show-stopper, we could also envision her in our style with a similar neckline. Shop our Emma Dress in Claret
Kaley Cuoco in Oscar De La Renta
Kaley was glowing in the A-line, tulle dress that was dramatic and regal as she attended the award show from home. While an award was not won for Cuoco, she definitely won on our end with this ball gown. We could have also seen her in our Piper Dress in Pewter
Margot Robbie in Chanel
Robbie was glamorous in a floral tiered dress with slit. The cold-shoulder introduced an even more playful and relaxed vibe to the chic gown. As a presenter for the awards, she brought the fashion-forward style that we crave on the red carpet. We could also see her in one of our dresses with a similar shoulder style. Shop our Willow Dress in Black
Kyra Sedgwick in Marina Moscon
Kyra, we love you for choosing a pant and top ensemble! The champagne-colored blouse and matching trousers was sleek, stylish, and looked like it was made just for her. We couldn't help to focus on the twisted neck of her top which reminded us so much of a style that we have. And while it is in dress form, Sedgwick would of rocked it just as well as she did her Moscon number! Shop our Calypso Dress in Ivory
Elle Fanning in Gucci
Let us count the ways that we love Elle Fanning. If we start, we won't be able to stop. With a sleek bun to show off the silky spaghetti strap gown, she looked ethereal and every bit Hollywood glamour. The color was what really caught our eye. We think Elle would have also loved to wear our Ivy Dress in Aquamarine
Anya Taylor-Joy in Dior
As one of the biggest nights of Anya's career, we honestly couldn't envision her in anything else (but maybe one of our dresses). The forest green gown was a showstopper and had us saying, "CHECKMATE!" when it comes to adding her to our top favorite styles. We also have a dress just as regal that Anya would wear with just as much chicness. Shop our Blakely Dress in Forest Green
